Dictator misses his registration deadline
With a great fanfare in Lau, FIJI'S DICTATOR, Bainimarama, announced he would register his party on 22 April. That day has passed by and no sign of a registration. Another missed deadline by Bainimarama.
If SODELPA, FLP and NFP had delayed their registration by just one day they would have been de-registered. Bainimarama has delayed his registration and there is no consequence. Another case of - ONE law for Bainimarama another law for the rest.
Confirming the news to FijiLive.com, the dictator said he was still compiling his list of required signatures.
He needs 5000 signatures to register his proposed party – 2,000 from the central division, 1,750 from the western division, 1,000 from the northern division and a 250 from the eastern division.
Bainimarama stated he was “still consolidating list of registered names and awaiting for forms from the islands.”
Fiji's fraudulent general elections - to save a corrupt, lying dictator and his parasitic group of corrupt family and friends
Fiji's dictator is desperate to win the elections and to stay in power or it will mean certain arrest and imprisonment for him and his group of corrupt, parasitic friends and family.
Therefore, his illegal and megalomaniac AG, Khaiyum, has been working the system through his corrupt judiciary, illegal decrees, puppet electoral Commission, and his unqualified and inexperienced Supervisor of Elections who has not voted before in any general elections, to rig the elections in the dictator's favour.
On September 17, 2014, if elections do take place, voters will be given a fresh booklet of the candidate list, says Saneem, the Supervisor of Elections. Does this mean that the information in the "fresh" booklet will be altered and different to what voters receive prior to elections day? Not sure?! BUT, if it is different then the electoral decree gives the supervisor of elections immunity from prosecution for any fraudulent activity on his part or by his office.
With only one day scheduled for elections, will the polling booths be held up deliberately by the dictator's supporters to stop others from being able to cast their vote for other parties? This is possible given Saneem's statement that “No time limit will be given to voters to cast their vote. We are not going to pressure anybody to quickly vote.”
The list of candidates – where each electoral candidate will be assigned a number, will be made public at least two weeks before September 17. It will be an B5 size, which is half of an A4 sheet. This means that each candidate and their party will have only two weeks to promote their assigned numbers to voters in over 1000 communities across remote and isolated areas located across 108 islands. The dictator, however, has illegally been promoting himself and campaigning for over 3 years using taxpayers funds and he also has control over the media.
Saneem also says that the ballot boxes to be used in the general election are of international standard and will have uniquely numbered tags. But who cares. It's just a box with a tag! What matters is how the ballot box will actually be handled between the polling station and arriving at the counting centre. Then there is the issue of the ballot paper and the counting process and transparency.....
"On-the-way" offers many opportunities for fraud. Will the same box that left the polling station with its multiple tags be the same box to arrive at the counting centre? Or will it be swapped or tampered with on-the-way? Independent observers need to be on hand to ensure this risk is reduced! The Fiji police and military can not be trusted to do this task correctly. They still haven't arrested the dictator for treason, murder, sedition and corruption! But can NZ observers be trusted, given the Foreign Minister McCully's eagerness to support the dictator. Sources in the military also said that many international observers in 2006 seemed more focused on having a good time in the islands.......hmmmmm
Then there is the case of lying. Bainimarama and his puppet master Khaiyum, have lied to the people of Fiji so many times and broken all their promises, so how will the elections be any different. Especially when both their criminal lives depend on the outcome of the votes going in their favour! So when the Supervisor of Elections, Saneem, says that there would be no spare seals given to any polling station or presiding officer, can we believe him? NOT LIKELY!!
McCully rewards Fiji's lying, corrupt dictator
Fijivillage.com reports that New Zealand’s Foreign Minister Murray McCully said NGOs and opposition parties that continue to criticize NZ for assisting the Fijian government to move forward and have elections should ask themselves whether the continuous criticisms are helping anyone.
While speaking to Fijivillage, McCully stressed that the NZ government has decided [based on his advice] that the best way forward is to assist Fiji in the preparations for the general election on September 17th.
He said there has been so much progress already and this needs to be acknowledged. What a load of rubbish!

This all strongly suggests that McCully is not a leader and nor is he the brightest spark in the New Zealand Government.
We did support the NZ National Party, but not any more. At least, not while McCully and Keys are still a part of the National party.
Bainimarama - Fiji's First Criminal PM

Fiji's two leading criminals, the dictator and self-appointed PM, self-appointed Rear Admiral and self-appointed Finance Minister, etc, Bainimarama, and his puppet master Khaiyum act above the law. What is also amazing, is that New Zealand's PM John Keys and his Foreign Minister McCully, suggest that these illegal acts by Fiji's two leading criminals are all part of holding Free and Fair elections. Unbelievable! What incompetent bloody wonders!!
FijiVillage reported [29 March 2014] that Fiji's megalomaniac Attorney General, Khaiyum, stated that any person who is holding public office, including civil servants and trade unionists, found taking part in political campaigns and electoral activity, will now be fined or even imprisoned. Khaiyum said this after two amendments were made to the Political Parties Registration decree.
Please note that Civil servants include the Prime Minister and Attorney General.
On Sunday March 30th 2014, Mick Beddoes lodged a formal complaint with the Sabeto Police. The complaint is against the dictator Bainimarama, the Fiji Sun, Dr Luveni, Razor, CJ Patel, Fiji Village and FBCL for breaching Part II of the provisions of the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding and Disclosures) Decree No 4 of 2013.
3 (1) An association of persons or an organization shall not operate, function, represent or hold itself out to be a political party unless it has been registered as a political party in accordance with the provisions of this decree.
(2) If any association of persons or an organization operate, function, represent or hold itself out to be a political party without being registered in accordance with the provisions of this decree, then any person who is a member of or holds office in any such association or organization commits an offence and shall be liable upon conviction to a fine of $50,000 or a term of imprisonment not exceeding 5 years or both.
Now we await the Fiji Police to arrest these criminals who are in breach of Part II of the provisions of the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding and Disclosures) Decree No 4 of 2013.

(1) It shall be unlawful to use State authority, including law and tax enforcement authorities, to pressure or intimidate political opposition.
(2) It shall be unlawful for any public officer to conduct campaign activities.
(3) It shall be unlawful to force, pressure, or intimidate public officers to participate in campaign activities, to attend campaign rallies or meetings, or to assist a political party or candidate in campaigning in any manner, in or outside work hours.
(4) It shall be unlawful to conduct campaign activities or to post or distribute any campaign material inside a public office.
(5) Any person who contravenes this section commits an offence and shall be liable upon conviction to a fine not exceeding $50,000 or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding 10 years, or to both.

This is the third part of an article which began with the MIDA incident, premised on the allegation that Vesikula’s “kerosene and water don’t mix” statement was an expression of racism or “hate speech” against Indo-Fijians.
[Part I of the article pointed out that raising concerns about indigenous people lagging behind systematically, such as in education and commerce, and calling for Affirmative Action was not racism. Part II of the earlier article focused on the mutual prejudices or racism of Indo-Fijians and Fijians.]
This article, drawing on my own personal experience over the years, focuses on the many internal racisms, which might equally be described by Vesikula’s metaphor “kerosene does not mix with water” and his statement “race is a fact of life”.
I suggest, that on the contrary, both are being eroded as Fiji moves towards a multi-racial society, pushed along by the young folk especially, and the forces of globalization.
I conclude by suggesting that Fiji’s political leaders can either destructively perceive our multicultural diversity as “forces that divide us” (as our political dinosaurs have in the past), or they can constructively use the diversity as a wonderful asset that can enrich our lives, both spiritually and materially (as in the tourism industry).
I first cast stones in my own family glass house, which not only illustrates the racism of Gujarati against Hindustani (i.e. “non-Gujarati Indo-Fijians”), but also the great progress made within just one generation, of racial barriers breaking down, holding much hope for Fiji’s future.
Bainimarama ruined Fiji and wants to fool people into voting for him
Fiji’s dictator, Bainimarama, and self-appointed Prime Minister and self-appointed REAR-Admiral is awarded yet another new title. But this time its awarded by the FIJI SUN – calling the dictator MR SIMPLE.
Mr Simple [Bainimarama] who has lied to the people since the May 2000 coup is now desperate to remain in power or it will mean prison for him and his corrupt bunch of greedy parasitic supporters that include Khaiyum and his father and brother and their families, Shameem sisters, Vodafone, CJ Patel, Tappoo, Solanki, Punjas, and the more than 30 unqualified military officers and civilians who have been appointed to senior government roles. There are others who linger in the shadows. They are all dependent on the dictator retaining power and control over Fiji and it’s resources so that they can continue to rob Fiji like CJ Patel and its illegal acquisition of Rewa Dairy.
So Bainimarama is trying desperately to fool the less educated of our people into thinking that he cares about them and to vote for him. Meanwhile, Bainimarama and his puppet master Khaiyum, have driven Fiji to its:

Prof Narsey explains Fiji's voting nightmare
PROFESSOR WADAN NARSEY looks at the ELECTORAL DECREE 2014 (DECREE NO. 11 OF 2014), suggesting that voting will be a nightmare for voters.
This, as we all know by now, is just another trick by Bainimarama and Khaiyum aimed at confusing voters as part of their "free and Fair" election to rig the election results in Bainimarama's favour. Unfortunately, these illegal and devious acts are supported by New Zealand's Foreign Minister, Murray McCully, who has been telling New Zealand parliament that Fiji will have Free and Fair elections - yeah right!
Prof Narsey explains that there will be one national constituency to elect 50 parliamentarians. However, before the Decree was issued, Bainimarama had stated on his campaign trail that voters will choose from 250 candidates from five political parties (presumably with each party putting forward 50 candidates).
But the Schedule at the end of the Electoral Decree 2014 indicates the possibility of 280 candidates (presumably also allowing for 30 Independents). This means, writes Prof Narsey, that each voter will face one massive ballot paper, with 280 squares. Each square will have a number and the name and photo of the candidate, with the illegal Decree saying nothing about a party symbol to go with the candidate. Each candidate will be issued with a number, randomly selected between 135 and 414.
In the polling booth, the voter will have to identify their preferred candidate, and circle, tick or cross that one square with their preferred candidate, out of the 280 squares.
Prof Narsey explains the voting nightmare.
There are hundreds of thousands of voters throughout Fiji, who may have great difficulty in finding their preferred candidate on such a large ballot paper with 280 names and numbers. In this case some political parties or candidates might quite sensibly think that they could help their supporters getting them to take a small piece of paper with the number of their preferred candidate written down.
But sorry, Section 52 (2) of the Electoral Decree states:
“It shall be unlawful for any person to bring into a polling station or polling venue any type of paper or any specimen or sample of a ballot paper or any card or instruction on how to vote.”
Section 52 (3) then warns voters,
“If the Supervisor or presiding officer has reasonable suspicion that a voter is in breach of subsection (2), he or she may request the assistance of a police officer to search the voter, and it shall be lawful for a police officer to take such measures as necessary to conduct a search of the voter.”
A decent law-abiding citizen of this country, exercising his or her right to make an informed choice in the election by taking a piece of paper into the polling booth to help him or her to vote, can be searched, on suspicion, like a common criminal?
AND FURTHERMORE, if any such material is found on them, Section 52 (4) further warns,
“Any person who contravenes this section commits an offence and shall be liable upon conviction to a fine not exceeding $50,000 or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding 10 years or to both.
What sort of serious crime does Fiji’s justice system hand out such horrendous punishment?
The contemptuous charade continues
But we should not be surprised any more by this Bainimarama/Khaiyum Regime’s antics.
For this is an unelected military dictatorship, which removed a lawfully elected government in 2006, and ruled us without our permission and without anyone voting for them, for eight whole years.
They have unilaterally imposed unlawful decree after decree on us, culminating in the 2013 Bainimarama/Khaiyum Constitution, which promises them and their collaborators, total immunity for any crime they may have committed from 2000 to elections in 2014.
But they threaten decent law-abiding voters [YOU] that if they innocently take a piece of paper into the polling booth to help them vote for their preferred candidate for the first time in eight years, they may be fined $50,000 and jailed for 10 years.
It would be a joke, if it was not such a nightmare.
This Regime has ignored all recommendations from political parties and the general public for far more sensible, understandable, and workable proportional electoral systems (such as local constituencies with a small number of candidates, who voters could easily identify with and choose from).
Instead, through the advice of a secret scheming cabal of shadowy collaborators, this Bainimarama Regime has thrust this electoral nightmare on our people through this Electoral Decree 2014.
All that the freedom loving people of Fiji and other political parties can do is grit their teeth and see where peaceful participation in this pathetic electoral charade takes them.
Addendum: some sick jokes
Joke 1: what if voters simply write their candidate’s number on some hidden part of their body, which they can look at, inside the privacy of the polling booth? Will all voters be strip-searched by the police?
There are lots of other sick jokes in the 2014 Electoral Decree.
Joke 2 : from the Decree, section 115 states:
Restrictions on campaigns
115.—(1) Following the announcement of the date of the election, it shall be unlawful for any person, entity or organisation (including any person employed or engaged by any such person, entity or organisation) that receives any funding or assistance from a foreign government, inter-governmental or non-governmental organisation or multilateral agency to engage in, participate in or conduct any campaign (including organising debates, public forum, meetings, interviews, panel discussions, or publishing any material) that is related to the election or any election issue or matter.
Not only can CFF, FWRM, WCC, and other NGOs forget these educational activities after the announcement of the date of elections, but so also can The University of the South Pacific, which is partly funded by “foreign governments” (no doubt to the relief of their Vice Chancellor and Chairman of Council).
Section 63 (2) (d) states that in the In the 48 hour period prior to polling day and on the polling day until the close of polling at all polling stations, it is strictly prohibited for any person to–
”distribute in any manner (including through telephone, internet, email, social media or other electronic means) any campaign material or communicate political messages, including calls to vote for or against a particular political party or candidate in the election.
Does this Decree effectively give the Bainimarama Regime the draconian authority to monitor all our phone calls, emails, and Internet usage, and conduct electronic surveillance on citizens that infringes on their basic human right to privacy?
Section 113 Prohibition on use of State resources to campaign
(1) It shall be unlawful to use State authority, including law and tax enforcement authorities, to pressure or intimidate political opposition.
(2) It shall be unlawful for any public officer to conduct campaign activities.
But of course, there is some Decree which states that Bainimarama and his other unelected Ministers are not “public officers”, and they will be allowed to remain in office, handing out goodies all around the country (of course, not buying any votes) and maligning any “old politician” they want (except those in his own gang).
Section 27 (2) the nomination of an independent candidate is not valid unless it is accompanied by
(b) signatures of at least 1,000 registered voters as supporters; and
(c) ) contain the full names, residential addresses, occupation and voter numbers of the supporters.
So for poor Independent candidates, forget the principle of the “secrecy of the ballot box” and who are going to vote for you. The Regime and other political parties will know exactly who are your supporters, who they can target in whatever way they want.
Just as they can target the 5000 persons who sign up as “supporters” of political parties.
It's NOT a free and fair election when the dictator does not need to follow the rules
Fiji's corrupt, lying dictator, Voreqe Bainimarama, will take official leave as illegal Prime Minister to officially begin campaigning for his newly named Fiji First Party that is not even registered!
The dictator, however, has been campaigning across the country for the past seven years while other political parties have been "caged" behind Khaiyum's illegal decrees and Bainimarama's brutal military thugs who have been intimidating and beating up anyone and everyone who speaks the truth about Bainimarama and his megalomaniac puppet master.
Now the dictator attempts to fool the people of Fiji with his speech saying that “Whether you be a commoner or a chief; a shop keeper or a consumer; a landowner or a farmer; an office worker or a labourer; a woman or a man; a pensioner or a youth; a city dweller or someone living in our maritime or rural areas. We have to travel together to become the pride of the Pacific and the world. I need you all…all Fijians to come with me on this journey, I need you to believe in my goal for a united Fiji; a honest Fiji; a corrupt free Fiji.” What a f#&kin load of bullshit!
Bainimarama and Khaiyum have NOT DONE anything honest or corrupt free since December 2006! This clearly implies that Bainimarama thinks that Fijians are STUPID and can easily be fooled by his lies and free gifts of sewing machines, brush-cutters and other goodies. Meanwhile, Bainimarama and his puppet master loot Fiji of its wealth, steal native lands, pay themselves multiple salaries, insult native Fijian culture and tradition and their Lord Jesus Christ!
Bainimarama also said that You and your families will have a better future, when in reality the country has experienced its worse economic results under Bainimarama and Khaiyum's corrupt dictatorship. So how can it be a better future with Bainimarama? - It wont be a better future under Bainimarama!

Regime's political enforcer Mohammed Saneem appointed new Supervisor of Elections without the 15 year experience!
Fiji's 2014 General Elections set to take place on 17 September.
The illegal AG Khaiyum also announced that Mohammed Saneem was appointed Supervisor of Elections and has resigned from his positions as Permanent Secretary for Justice and acting Permanent Secretary Responsible for Elections to take up his new post on Monday. The new Electoral Decree was also released.
The illegal Attorney-General and Minister Responsible for Elections and for ruining Fiji's economy, Khaiyum, appointed Saneem over other more qualified and more experienced applicants. There were 13 qualified applicants which the illegal AG determined unfit, no doubt because they would most likely not accept his interference and corrupt directives to "rig" the elections in Bainimarama's favour.
Remember that Bainimarama was also appointed Commander of the RFMF in a similar and corrupt manner. Ratu Epeli Ganilau appointed Bainimarama as the Commander over more senior, more qualified and more experienced military army officers. Ratu Epeli Ganilau did this without the prior approval of the Commander in Chief and President, Ratu Sir KKT Mara. However, Paul Manueli was gladly accepted the nomination as he was also advising that "group of plotters' attempting to usurp power in Fiji since their first 1987 coup attempt.
Khaiyum's actions only reinforces what we already know, that the rule of law does not apply in Fiji, and that Khaiyum writes decrees that neither he nor Bainimarama or their family and friends can ignore. Appointing people who will adhere to his corrupt directives and see, hear and speak no evil about Khaiyum's corrupt actions is what Khaiyum wants. So it is safe to conclude that a similar fate awaits the 2014 elections.
Its obvious the only true leader in Fiji is a women, Ro Temumu Kepa, brave enough to stand-up against the stupid bainimarama and his thugs who are holding Fiji hostage. And what so will the people of Fiji be willing to do when the 2014 elections are rigged? What then? Will they fall back to more gossip and bitching and in the process allow the oppressive and corrupt dictatorship to continue, or will they finally stand-up and say "enough is enough"?!
Bainimarama breaks another of his promises to the people of Fiji - that no interim minister can stand for elections
Fiji's dictator and self-appointed prime minister, minister of finance, etc and self-promoted Rear admiral, Frank Bainimarama, announced to the world that the Minister of Women’s Affairs and Social Welfare, Dr Jiko Luveni, would run with him in Fiji's 2014 Elections.
However, in 2007 he stated that No interim Minister in his military Government would stand for elections. This is just another broken promise he has made to the people of Fiji. It also shows that Bainimarama is nothing more than a liar, sweet talking his way into fooling the people of Fiji into believing that he was doing a good thing for Fiji. What a load of rubbish!
The events and actions that have come to pass since December 2006 have shown that Bainimarama is all about lying to the people of Fiji to support him, while he loots the nation of its wealth and resources, receives for his corrupt family and friends.
Fiji Electoral Commission are a waste of space

Its interesting to hear many people talk about the 2014 elections as if it will solve Fiji's current crisis with its dictator. They seem to think that the elections, if held, will be as simple as the wining party taking over control of the country from the dictator, Bainimarama, and his megalomaniac puppet master and their group of corrupt families and friends.
That the dictator and his puppet master, Khaiyum, will just simply step aside and give up all that power and control over Fiji and its wealth, which they have been looting since 2007. That they will just simply give up their multiple salaries, their high life, all the bribes and free-rides, their multiple properties and the millions they steal from the cheap Chinese loans. That they will simply give this all up and not worry about the risk of going to prison for life because they have immunity from prosecution for their crimes of treason, sedition, murder, corruption, torture, nepotism and theft of native lands. WRONG! By crook or by coup they will retain power post elections!
The puppet dictator, Bainimarama, is already out and about campaigning while political parties are being held back awaiting the elusive electoral decree.
Bainimarama CHEATS to get ahead
FBC News reports that the elusive Election Decree will spell out procedures for the election.
Senior Elections Official, Asenaca Kolinivala, told ,Gold FM’s Talkback Show, “The decree will dictate whether you’re going to tick or whether you’re going to write a number of something like that. All those processes will come out in the decree. We don’t know what’s there but possibly might take one minute."
The decree is expected to be released sometime this week, however, the illegal PM who has been holding Fiji hostage since December 2006 has been out campaigning for votes while other political parties await the election rules. Not forgetting the hurdles that they political parties had to overcome just to get registered as the megalomaniac and illegal AG, Khaiyum, applied all sorts of tricks and lies to remove political parties from standing at this years 2014 general elections. His latest trick has been to withhold the Election Decree while his puppet, Bainimarama, campaigns ahead of forming and registering his party.
Under Bainimarama's better Fiji, the rules and laws apply only to law abiding citizens. Corrupt, lying, criminal dictators and their greedy corrupt family and friends can do whatever they want, however they want and whenever they want - for a fee.
Fiji's PAC dissolved to hide corruption
Fiji’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has been dissolved by the illegal AG after hard questions were asked by PAC members.
The Public Accounts Committee (PAC), which is the Committee of Public Accounts, is a select committee responsible for overseeing government expenditures to ensure they are effective and honest. It plays a crucial role in ensuring transparency and accountability in all government financial operations.
PAC examines the Accounts showing the appropriation of sums granted by Parliament to meet the Public Expenditure.
However, in Fiji, under the corrupt, lying dictatorship, this key select committee was dissolved to hide the truth about Bainimarama and Khaiyum’s illegal appropriation and expenditure of public funds. This includes:

This accusation is so far from the truth that it questions the intelligence and motives of the the party leadership! They [the National Youth Party Leadership] told S&G they were going to cut them off their List. Isa, really?
This issue highlights a problem with the quality and maturity of some of the so-called leaders in Fiji, in particular those fake leaders that like the "stage" and/or like to talk or just like to "fancy". They do so without first understanding the issues and thus miss-inform and miss-lead their members and followers! This type of leader is dangerous for any party. What the party needs to do is to identify and understand what hidden talents each of their members have and than organise those "talents" into a viable source of knowledge and skill set to ensure they and the party are getting the best value from their total resources and their leadership. Especially during this sad time in Fiji's history when Fijians are being cheated and lied to by a sly dictator, Bainimarama, who is holding the nation hostage and running from the law to save his own ass from being arrested and from being thrown into prison!
In its 2009 manifesto, the National Youth Party included free bus fare for both Primary and Secondary school students. Then they thank the dictator Bainimarama for implementing this in 2011. This is incorrect! It's not free bus fare - its "subsidised" bus fare! This is the type of miss-leading information being told to Fijians.
It's also not free education! It's only free tuition, big difference! The parents, a lot of whom are unemployed and live in poverty, still have to find money to pay for school text books, pens, uniforms, calculators, shoes, rulers, erasers, bags, field trips and everything else their child needs to be educated. So its not free education, its only free tuition - a big difference!
The corrupt, lying bainimarama dictatorship wants our people to believe that they are providing free education and free bus fair. Its NOT all free, but Bainimarama keeps saying that it is all free to fool the innocent and less educated of our people into thinking that he is helping them. Rubbish! Even mother nature showed that those fancy new roads were fake - not the quality that we would expect at $3 million a kilometre!
Bainimarama lied to us and mother nature proved it, easily washing the roads away to reveal the cheap workmanship that cost the Fijian people 100's of millions of dollars.
Yes, its very expensive roads at $3 million per kilometre - for a graded piece of dirt covered with less that an inch of tar-seal. What a rip-off! It also highlights the incompetence of the Minister responsible for roads. This is also why Bainimarama is hiding the Auditor General Reports from the Fijian people - to cover up his corruption and lies!
The false claims of everything free and providing "basic services" is all part of the corrupt dictatorship propaganda - which the National Youth Party appears to be supporting and sounds to be rather pro-dictatorship. A dictatorship that is holding the nation hostage, where Fijian people are living under oppression, with high unemployment, high cost of living, high poverty, high crime, etc. This is what the bainimarama dictatorship has given to the Fijian people! Shazzer & Grubby has been highlighting this corruption for the Fijian people to see. Unfortunately, those leaders of the National Youth Party where unable to understand this simple fact --so maybe its time that its 5000 members re-look at the quality and maturity of their leadership.
