This video shows more proof of Frank Bainimarama and Khaiyum’s lies and hypocrisy – in the very faces of the people of Fiji.
In the video Bainimarama states clearly that his Government has an obligation to those who have fallen ill of the law and that there are international standards and best practice that need to be adhered to and upheld. .....Yes, we all agree with this statement and it’s a fantastic one ……so why is Bainimarama NOT applying it to himself and to his brother-in law, Francis Kean and his puppet master Kahiyum?
Remember, Bainimarama staged the 2006 coup to avoid being arrested and imprisoned by the Fiji police for his crimes of treason, murder, sedition and disobeying a lawful order. His brother-in-law murdered an innocent man at a family wedding by continually kicking the man in the head while he lay helpless on the ground.
Bainimarama ordered that his criminal brother-in-law continue to receive his full Navy salary while in prison. Other military and police officers where jailed for lesser crimes than murder, but they did not continue to receive their salaries. Francis Kean was released well short of his jail sentence, and reappointed to his post as Commander Fiji Navy. Other criminals who committed far lesser crimes still remain incarcerated. Khaiyum is also guilty of corruption and intimidating citizens and having them beaten up. This is all corruption through and through! But Bainimarama’s relatives, including the O’connors, still claim he is not corrupt. Some relatives and blind followers have even stated that beating up indigenous Fijians and using guns against them is the best way to lead and manage natives.
Bainimarama also claims in the video that the concept of “innocent until proven guilty" is the corner stone of Fiji’s legal system. We all agree with this statement too..... But again, more lies by Bainimarama, as we all know by now that the Fiji courts are not free and independent under Khaiyum's judicial dictatorship.
A number of high ranking former judges stated in affidavits, and provided many examples of corruption, that Fiji’s courts are not free and independent. Fiji judges are given their rulings beforehand or during a court hearing. At times they receive their ruling before the case was even heard in court.
There have also been examples of innocent people being sent to jail on trumped up charges. Unscrupulous and highly expensive Hong Kong lawyers were even brought in to ensure a conviction, as with the former Prime Minister, who was found guilty on another and unrelated issue that happened years earlier. Charges that Khaiyum's PS Public Enterprise is, herself, guilty of. Elizabeth Powell is reported, with convincing evidence, to have falsified board minutes to hide her ignorance and arrogance. Often raising her voice, to what was described as that of a man, to intimidate and talk down the spineless chairman of the board and directors. A number of CEO's also stated that Khaiyum dictates decisions for their organisations, especially if they or their board has voted against one of his friends or relatives. A case in point is Vodafone and Aslam Khan, who offered higher prices and lower quality phones and unreliable after sales services. He lost three times and then went to Lhaiyum to force the organisation into using Vodafones less reliable and highly expensive services. Again, the evidence shown to us is overwhelming, and Elizabeth Powell covered it up.
And now we have more proof of Bainimarama continuing to fool the people of Fiji with his lies - especially indigenous Fijians in rural communities and villages.
