Chiefs pledge support, but will they on the day

The Fiji times [BY Nasik Swami And Dawn Gibson, Tuesday, May 20, 2014] reports that 
PROMINENT chiefs and Fijians continue to show support for the proposed Fiji First party.

Fiji's self-appointed Rear Admiral (Ret) Bainimarama said that, apart from the 40 odd thousand who put forward their names there were many whose names had come in after they lodged their application. However, none of these names have been verified by an independent group. 

BUT dont forget that the REAR-admiral is also the person who verifies the names!  This is like walking onto a rugby field and being told that the leader of the opposing team will also be the referee and video judge!
