This is fantastic! So lets get the ICC to issue an arrest warrant for Bainimarama. He looks the typical gutless bully. Imagine, the Commander RFMF abandoned his men and literally ran for it.... It definitely isn't the same RFMF with Cpl Sukanaivalu, who won a Victory Cross! I heard that it was raining that day, but there was dust in the air! Bula Malaya...has lost all its pride....Bainimagana!

Dr Sikua calls for dialogue with Mara
Monday, 08 August 2011 09:45

The Opposition Leader has called on Prime Minister Danny Philip to
accept the request by the former Fijian Army Colonel Ratu Tevita Mara
for an official dialogue on the condition he has a better offer on the
way forward for Fiji.

Hon. Dr Derek Sikua said it is in the interest of Solomon Islands
relationship with Fiji that Solomon Islands government should be open to
any dialogue with Mara as he could be representing the majority voice of
Fijians.

"Prime Minister Philip should not take the very tough line to not
entertain Ratu Tevita Mara as long as he does not criticize the Fijian
Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama.

"Who knows? Ratu Tevita Mara may have a better offer for the way forward
for Fiji than what Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama has
introduced.

"Prime Minister Philip knows about Bainimarama's plan for Fiji and we
should provide Ratu Tevita Mara with an opportunity to outline any offer
he has on the way forward."

"So in the best interest of the people of Fiji, I urge Prime Minister
Philip to reconsider the stance he has taken and arrange for a meeting
with the former Fijian Army colonel and hear what he has on offer for
Fiji."

Here is a gnawing and faultering individual. Voreqe, your opinions have a slap in them for everyone who differs with you. You have isolated yourself. Your friends find they enjoy themselves better when you are not around. They make jokes and laugh how you have lost it. You know so much that no man can tell you anything. So, you are not likely ever to know anymore than you do now, which is very little. You are headed for failure and disaster and you are taking the country down with you..
Thanks for the establishment of FDFMovements and the drive by RUMara to take Fiji back to the Poll and Democracy. What unifies these movement FDFM is Ideas not Ideologies. There is a vast difference between the two; Ideas question and liberate while Ideologies justify and dictate. Generally, when an ideology forms, it is based on a set of beliefs originally set forth by one person. Those beliefs become an "-ism" when adepts, as they expand they divide and redivide. The insanity of human oppression caused by this Regime is fastening us together in ways we have never seen or imagined. Our deep concern for the well-being of our people and our Country is bred in the bone, endemic and hardwired. We have the ability and courage to persist overtime and resilience to to withstand any threat or pressure from the Dictator and his team. Some would argue that the task is futile - We, the right minded people of Fiji will persevere, dedicate and rededicate ourselves to restoring what we have lost through VB and his master Khaiyum. VB the self appointed leader and PM of our Nation has blood on his hand, together with his team, they have degraded our women and they have raped our Country with their militaristic management style.

Dear Ratu Mara,

Keep up the good work. I have been very impressed by the humility you have showed, the mark of a true leader.

I believe your first name is the Fijian rendering of 'David'. You remind me so much of your Biblical namesake. As you undoubtedly know, God was very forgiving of David's sins, but wasn't so forgiving of some of Israel's other kings, whose sins (from a human perspective) were far less serious than David's.

What made the difference? Simply this: David was humble enough to face up to what he had done wrong, and God honoured him for that.

Watching your videos, I see the same humility that characterized your great namesake in the Bible. God is with you. I will be keeping your mission in my prayers.

Blessings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

David Cannon.

Bai is a coward- he always seems to be "on a trip" when things are "happening" or about to "happen"...during Hibiscus, he made sure he was "on a trip" outside suva because his dorky intel felt something was "going to happen" by the people...
During the coup he planned...he was "on a trip"... so that someone else "cops the blame".

Bainipuaka has got decent molecule in his body. (all rotten moles)

He ordered the breaking of bones and cutting off hands...the army solders did that to a 12 yr old.

Theme for Hibiscus - Children our future ,love and protect them..

he was away during hibiscus... tail between his legs so he doesnt know wat all the good people of suva were strongly advocating...

my question is..
"WHY IS HE STILL HERE.,IN CHARGE OF AN ARMY OF SUPPOSEDLY GENTELMEN??

MY VIEW OF THE ARMY IS THIS-
All you officers and gentelmen in the army who uphold the previous good name of the QUEEN (QEB)should do your duty and and be true to your calling- the security and wellbeing of the people of this land. You are not honouring your uniform and nation if you continue to support your commander BAINIPUAKA WHO IS A MURDERER, A THIEF, A CONNIVING HYPOCRITE, SON OF A GUN.

YOU SHOULD DO THE RIGHT THING,...
- LEAVE THE ARMY,
- ORGANISE A GROUP TO TAKE HIM DOWN
- TIE HIM UP AND GIVE HIM THE SAME TREATMENT THAT HE ORDERED ON THE SOLDIERS THAT HE BETRAYED AND KILLED...eg Drag him from the back of a vehicle with a rope around his neck...dont kill him just keep doing torture to him and then dump him in a isolated section in Naboro..

He will beg TO DIE cos the pain will be unbearable.

I am so utterly gutted at the revelations of how the CRW soldiers and others were tortured and killed on the orders of BAINIPUAKA.

VOREQE BAINIMARAMA DESERVES TO DIE

Thank you Rt Ului for jumping ship when you did - it helps pave the way out of this rot and into a brighter future for FIJI

9th September, 2011, is
“PRESIDENTS DAY”
This day shall be a day of prayer, fasting or of contemplation at home for all of our citizens.
A day at home with family and friends, at peace.
OUR PRESIDENT,
Heir to Cakobau's wisdom, to bring Fiji under law and God, who gave up his weapon of war, that futile and degrading implement of law.
HAS PROMISED AND ASSURED THE PEOPLE OFF FIJI THAT HE WILL HEAR AND HEED THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE OF FIJI.
Sir we respectfully dedicate the 9th September 2011 to you, that you might act upon our will and desire as outlined below as follows:
1. That the public emergency regulations be revoked in an act of goodwill to the people of Fiji, in recognition of our tolerant, lawful and peaceful nature.
2. That censorship of all media is withdrawn so as to allow for the participation of our people in the affairs of state as is their rightful and responsible duty to do so.
3. That you’re cabinet, acting as an interim government, be mindful of it actions as an interim representative of the people and to maintain the highest integrity in all its dealings. As an act of good faith to the people we request that all future remuneration for cabinet members become public knowledge and payment conducted within the appropriate department of government
4. That you sir, put a stay on the more controversial decrees being brought forward by your interim administration against the workers and their pensions
5. That, given in your opinion, the people have shown by their absence; at work, at play, at their daily business, an overwhelming support in honour of your position as head of state, in support of your pledge to us, that you will act on our behalf, if given the mandate to do so, will;
act upon these above points of contention that are creating anxiety and strife among our people, that you will also pledge this day a fully paid public holiday, as approved by us ,the people, in this here act of REFERENDUM, by the people, for the people.
This “PRESIDENTS DAY” is being called and honoured by the people, it is not leaderless, its leader is us, the individual, each and everyone one of us.
Hand in hand, this day is not brought by any one race or religion, but by all races and religions;
This day is not brought by any one political party, but by all political parties;
This day is not brought by any one union or worker or business owner, but by all our businesses and workers;
This day is not brought by one department of government by all departments and workers;
This day shall be especially honoured by the disciplined forces;
Our Prison Services, Our Navy, Our Police and Our Army who have pledged allegiance to the President and the people he represents, us, the Citizens of Fiji.
The people are acting upon their own individual conviction; the members of the disciplined forces are being asked to act on their own individual oath pledged to our President and us the People. Be at peace.
We, the people shall not disturb you.
On this day, 9th September, 2011, let the wind that blows over our beautiful islands and over our homes and gardens, bring a divine spirit of unity that will calm our souls, show ourselves and the world that;
YES WE CAN,
WE can determine our future in our own country,
WE can sacrifice for our future, and WE pledge it so on this coming “PRESIDENTS DAY HOLIDAY”.
To those who are overseas, who love and care for our country, stay your hand for a moment, whilst we make our voices heard, one day at a time, till our sacrifices bear fruit.
We shall direct government by referendum – we peacefully rebuke this dictatorship and ask our President and his Military Council to act, to save our nation any further embarrassment among our family of nations and to stay any further acts of violence against our people whose fervent desire is to live with dignity and freedom.
9th. September 2011 - I am one, I am free, together we are strong
RESPECTFULLY,
The People.
19.11.2011
To the honoured visitors in our country, be not alarmed, our great tradition of hospitality shall not disrupt your stay. The most essential needs within the country shall not be disrupted by this peaceful demonstration of our freedom.

In recent years various dictatorships internal and external origin - have collapsed or stumbled when confronted by defiant, mobilised people. Often seen as firmly entrenched and impregnable, some of these dictatorships proved unable to withstand the concerted political, economic and social defiance of the people. Mass political defiance has occurred in China, Burma, Tibet, Iran, Syria and the latest in Libya. Although some of those struggles have not brought an end to the ruling dictatorship, they have exposed the brutal nature of those repressive regimes to the world community and have provided the populations with valuable experience with this form of struggle. The collapse of dictatorships in some of the above named countries certainly has not erased all other problems in those societies: poverty, crime, bureaucratic in inefficiency and enviromental destruction are often the legacy of brutal regimes. However, the downfall of those dictatorships has minimally lifted much of the suffering of the victims of oppression and has opened the way for the rebuilding of these societies with greater political democracy, personal liberties and social justice. In some cases, the social, political, economic and even religious institutions of the society have been deliberately weakened, subordinated or even replaced by new regimented institutions used by the state to control society. The population has often been atomised (turned into mass of isolated individuals) unable to work together to achieve freedom, to confide in each other or even to do much of anything at their own initiative. The result is predictable: The population becomes weak, lacks self-confidence and is incapable os resistance. People are often too frightened to share their hatred of the dictatorship and their hunger for freedom even with family and friends. People are often too terrified to think seriously of public resistance. Instead, they face suffering without purpose and on a future wihout hope. Constitutional and legal barriers, judicial decisions and public opinions are normally ignored by the regime. Although dictatorships may be somewhat weakened by international actions, their continuation is dependent primarily on internal factors. International pressures can be very useful when they are supporting a powerful internal resistance movement. For example, international economic boycotts, embargoes, the breaking of diplomatic relations, expulsion from international organisations, condemnation by UN bodies and the like can assist greatly. However, in the absence of a strong internal resistance movement, such actions by others are unlikely to happen. The conclusion is a hard one. When one wants to bring down a regime of thugs most effectively and with the least cost then one has four immediate tasks: 1) One must strengthen the oppressed population themselves in their determination, self-confidence and resistance skill; 2) One must strengthen the independent social groups and institutions of the oppressed people; 3) One must create a powerful internal resistance force; 4) One must develop a wise grand strategic plan for liberation and implement it skillfully. A liberation struggle is a time for self-reliance and internal strengthening of the struggle group. As Charles Parnell called out during the Irish rent strike campaign in 1879. "It is no use relying on the Govt...you must only rely upon your own determination..help yourselves by standing together...strengthen those amoungst yourselves who are weak...band yourselves together, organise yourselves..and you must win..then and not till then will it be settled. Against a strong self-reliant force, given wise strategy, disciplined and courageous action and genuine strength, the dictator in our land will eventually crumble. Liberation from VB and his team ultimately depends on the people's ability to liberate themselves.

Its easy to understand why Sharon Smith-Johns,Fiji’s illegal permanent secretary of Information; continually praising Bainimarama and the Junta. Especially, knowing and seeing how she behaved at the QEB officers mess. Oh yes, it led to her poor husband committing suicide, because Sharon was literally servicing the officers. Including Bainimarama and his staff officers! Apparently she is still servicing the lot of them.

Some men in the world rule their people by tricks and not by righteous principles. They are not aware of their muddle-headedness. Like Voreqe and his master, they are sensitive to actions and ideas that treaten their capacity to do as they like. They have and will continue to threaten and punish those who disobey or fail to cooperate. Therefore, the degree of liberty or tyranny in any form of government is, it follows in large degree a reflection of the relative determination of the people to be free and their willingness and ability to resist efforts to enslave them. The English Nineteenth Century legal theorist John Austin described the situation of a dictatorship confronting a disaffected people. He argued that if most of the population were determined enough to destroy the regime and were willing to endure repression to do so, then the Dictator including those who support him will not preserve the hated regime even if it received foreign assistance.

I am a Seattle area Tribal member who has first hand information for Fiji residents with regard to the proposed One Hundred Sands casino. Under no circumstances should a Fiji resident base their future on this crazy idea. I have cut and pasted series of questions (from another website) directed at Mr. Claunch and the Snoqualmie Tribe. Following each question I have provided answers Clauch or the Snoqualmies won't answer...

Questions to Claunch
1- Do you have any Casino experience?

I have checked a number of work history/business background checks in the US dating back to 1995 and Mr. Claunch is a realtor and real estate investor. NO CASINO OWNERSHIP EXPERIENCE.

2- Where is the funding coming from?

Apparently he owns Nukudrau Island in northern Fiji which was purchased with his own money. The newest casino financing will be partly funded by the Snoqualmie Tribe, approximately $1 million US dollars. Seventh Generation Fund for American Indians appears to be used as a front to add credibility to the project. However they too do not have ANY casino operations experience and NO money. Their US tax forms list total assets of less than $850,000.

3- What successful developments have you been involved with in the last 10 years?

I could not find any beyond his ownership in the Nukudrau Island to the north.

4- What Casino experience do your architects have?

Architects are a dime a dozen with casino design experience and they would be hired from outside this company. Mr. Claunch would have trouble designing a dog house.

5- What is your view on letting locals gamble in your casino?

Discriminating against ANYONE for ANY REASON is inhuman. In the US, discrimination based race, color or creed is strictly illegal.

6- Who are your Fijian advisors?

My guess is whatever government official keeps the casino open???

7- How much are you paying your advisors?

You mean his fellow scam artists?

8- Who gave you the license and were they related to your Fijian advisor?

Great question. Snoqualmie Tribal members NEED to know.

9- How long have you been involved with the Snoqualmie Tribe?

Since May 2011.

10- Why did you choose a group with only 5 years casino experience?

They have disposable income year and a greedy, self-serving non-tribal member who leads the Tribal Council in ways that benefit him personally. Greasy.

11- If you wanted to go with an Indian tribe there are many with over 30 years casino experience?

Tribes with 30 years of experience can smell a thief a mile away and they know who to slam the door on. In this case Mr. Claunch found a rich misled US tribe to take advantage of.

12- What percentage ownership will they have?

No one at the Snoqualmie Tribe is going to disclose this information, they are not legally required to by the US Government.

13- Who are the other shareholders and what percentages do they have?

Since the Snoqualmie Tribe is the only partner with the investment money it seems they are. However, Mr. Claunch most likely is telling everyone his exclusive Fijian gambling license entitles him to a lions share of the ownership of the casino. Nice scam if you can get it.

14- What is the location of the Suva casino?

15- How will the Suva casino survive without tourists?

Questions for Snoqualmie Tribe

1- Have you had approval at all levels in the tribe for your involvement in this deal?

Mr. Claunch has not met with any tribal member other than employees of the tribe who coincidently travelled to Fiji on his dollar (that is, Claunch flies them to an exotic island in exchange for a positive word at a council meeting) also nice work if you can get it.

2- Are you in a position to proceed?

I would say this investment is dead once everyone has a moment of honesty. Mr. Claunch will earn real money for years to come while he is travelling, selling and developing his pipe dream. Casino investment frauds happen all the time in the US and in the end the only people who live off the pipedream are greasy guys like Mr. Claunch who have no real chance of delivering on their fraudulent promises.

3- How much money can you afford to invest?

The Snoqualmie Tribe has 1,200 enrolled tribal members. Since 2007 the members have not received any split of the money their casino has generated. When a tribe gives money to tribal members it is called “per capita” distributions. If the Snoqualmie Tribal leaders spend casino profits instead of distributing per capita money in 2012 current Tribal Council members will be removed from office. When changes in a tribal council occurs, investments made by the previous Councils are often voided.

4- What is your current debt level?

This tribe is hopelessly in debt. Other local tribes start with small casino investments then expand without a heavy

I have been monitoring fiji situation ever since bainimarama took the government in his own hands through illegal means. Last friday he made official announcement for the elections to be held in 2014 under new constitution. May i take this opportunity to congratulate political parties and individuals for giving their opinion and comments on this subject. regrettably i must say Fiji's Oldest Indian Party[NFP] chosen to remain silent on this issue. Can the following people through some light on this issue :YP & J Ram Reddy [chor] Kamal Iyer [nuni ke jhuran maila], Pramod Rae, Raman Singh ,Attar Singh, Biman Prasad, Sunil Kumar,Sushil Ram,Gurmel Singh,Dilip kumar,Jaganath Sami ,Bala Dass,Praveen Bala,Bimal Prasad ,Vinod Lal,Chandu Umaria,Ravin Pillay,S.K.Daveyand so on...........

G'day Truth for Fiji, got this info from a friend and will pass it on so that more and more people are fully aware of what is happening in Fiji. Apart from seeing bits and pieces on the news I didnt realise how bad things are in Fiji. HOW DARE can this terrorist Bainimarama point a finger at Tonga for helping Ratu Mara and wanting to get him back to Fiji for questioning. Is this gutless bloke for real. He is a dictator and he has a TERRORIST party trying to run the country and ruining innocent Fijian lives along the way. Im sorry mate but Fiji doesnt have an elected government since 2006. Good luck to you Bainimarama in trying to convince the rest of the world that you are a good leader. Unless Fiji has a legitimate elected government the rest of the world wont recognise it, you have lost your ways and you have blood in your hands. Only God can help you now, I just hope you wake up to it sooner rather than later.
