Fijivillage.com reports that New Zealand’s Foreign Minister Murray McCully said NGOs and opposition parties that continue to criticize NZ for assisting the Fijian government to move forward and have elections should ask themselves whether the continuous criticisms are helping anyone.

While speaking to Fijivillage, McCully stressed that the NZ government has decided [based on his advice] that the best way forward is to assist Fiji in the preparations for the general election on September 17th.

He said there has been so much progress already and this needs to be acknowledged. What a load of rubbish!

McCully said the progress that he has noticed since January this year include:
  • Bainimarama stepping down from the Army Commander’s post [even though we all know that Bainimarama still pulls the strings at the camp]
  • Bainimarama following the process as any other party to register his proposed party [bullshit!  Bainimarama is using taxpayer funds to gather signatures to register his party.  All other parties had to jump through hoops to register their parties. Bainimarama also breached his own electoral decree by campaigning while still in public office and while he was still Military Commander]
  • The appointment of the Supervisor of Elections [where ALL qualified applicants were deliberately ignored in favour of a highly inexperienced, unqualified and corrupt person who is a puppet of the illegal AG and dictator]
  • The publishing of the Electoral Decree [that has been dictated to the people of Fiji without any consultation].

But MCully forget to mention the 2013 Constitution that was forced onto the people of Fiji, and includes immunity [that was rejected by the people of Fiji] for the corrupt, lying dictator and his group of thugs.

This all strongly suggests that McCully is not a leader and nor is he the brightest spark in the New Zealand Government.

We did support the NZ National Party, but not any more. At least, not while McCully and Keys are still a part of the National party.
