The Fiji dictatorship, where Bainimarama and his criminal relatives are treated "more equal than others".
Frank Bainimarama told Fijian Chiefs to go drink home-brew under the mango tree, then he abolished the Great Council of Chiefs, while allowing other ethnic community councils to exist. He also implemented 17 decrees against indigenous Fijians.
Yet he had no problem allocating the Fijian Chiefly title of Ratu to himself [a half-caste of low birth], his criminal son who is awaiting trail in Sydney charged with 17 Domestic Violence offences, and his half-caste brother-in-law Francis Kean who was convicted in October 2007 of killing John Whippy on Saturday 30 December 2006, in Suva. At that time, Kean was Commander of the Fiji Navy, appointed to the job by Frank Bainimarama.
Nepotism you say, right on!
The undisciplined and immature thug was given a ridiculous 18 months jail sentence, and allowed to serve only a few weeks in the comfort of the naval base.
What a joke!! But wait. The joke continues.
While "incarcerated" Kean continued to receive his full military salary and benefits. In addition, the Yellow Ribbon program was used to release Kean early. After release, Bainimarama approved Kean's re-appointment as navy commander, saying he was the best person for the job. This is Nepotism!
In 2011, Francis Kean was appointed permanent secretary of works. His dictator brother-in-law Bainimarama insisted that he had nothing to do in bringing back Francis Kean as a civil servant. Still nepotism and clearly not based on Merit.
In 2018 the chairman of the Fiji Rugby Union, Francis Kean, was refused a visa to enter the United States to watch the Rugby World Cup Sevens because of his conviction. So, his dictator brother-in-law Bainimarama issued Kean with a Diplomatic Passport and even gave him the Chiefly Ratu title. But still, Kean was not allowed entry to the US.
It's beyond any doubt, and far beyond a joke, that dictator Frank Bainimarama and his criminal family are treating themselves as "more equal than others" in Fiji.
You have got to wonder what kind of Animal Farm Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is living in.
Everyone in Fiji with half a brain knows that NO parliament has approved the 2013 Constitution, which is Khaiyum's pathetic creation to protect his dumb Puppet Bainimarama from prosecution for his crimes after the 2000 coup and mutiny through the 2006 coup and right up to the 2104 Election.
The illegal 2013 Constitution is a document that helps Khaiyum control Fiji and punish his political opponents through Bainimarama's control of the RFMF via his corrupt military goons like Ben Naliva and Aiseri Rokoura.
It's a sham that has removed the autonomy of all institutions of state and turned them into puppets of Fiji's power hungry megalomaniac Sayed-Khaiyum.
Now this arrogant fool is telling Opposition MPs (including respected academic Professor Biman Prasad) to respect his trashy and illegal document. Yeah right!
Well, not for too much longer, what say Khaiyum and all your chamchas.
Soon, you will all be running for cover, if you know what's good for you.
Meli Bainimarama [Not a Real Ratu], the only son of Fiji dictator and illegal PM Frank JV Bainimarama, is charged with:
FIJIVILLAGE reports that Fiji's Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in London on September 19th at the invitation of Buckingham Palace.
Meanwhile, the President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere will host a live-broadcast Commemoration Service at 10am Tuesday, 20th September, at the State House.
One would think that the President of Fiji would be the more appropriate official to attend the Queen's funeral. Apparently not. Fiji's most non-essential worker sees it fit that he attend, even after his removal of the Queen's birthday, public holiday and image from Fiji's currency, and while keeping Fiji's flag at full mast.
This proves Frank JV Bainimarama is a hypocrite!
It also means that Bainimarama will pay himself $42,000 for attending the funeral. Yes, he will pay himself his $3,000 per day allowance, for the 14-day trip.
ABC News reports that the son of Fijian Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama, Meli Bainimarama, has been arrested and charged in relation to domestic violence related allegations following a warrant issued by New South Wales police.
New South Wales Police said officers started inquires after receiving a report relating to alleged domestic violence offences.
The 35-year-old Meli is in Australia on a non-residential visa and is the Fijian Prime Minister's only son.
It is customary that, as a mark of mourning and respect, many countries around the world fly their flags at half-mast following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
But not in Fiji.
Under dictator Frank JV Bainimarama, the Fiji flag flies at FULL Mast.
Remember, this is the same arrogant lunatic that wanted all symbols of colonialism removed.
In 2012 the unelected Bainimarama military government dumped the Queen's official birthday from Fiji's list of annual public holidays, saying it was no longer relevant to the former British colony, and that it would boost economic productivity. That boost never happened.
In the same year, Fiji's Reserve Bank also announced that they were replacing images of the Queen with images of Fijian flora and fauna. Fiji's chiefs were outraged.
What's interesting is that with all his fancy talk about removing colonial symbols, Frank Bainimarama continues to wear colonial three-piece suits, and in Fiji's hot and humid tropical climate, that's called a sona-ua.
The Fiji Times reported [9 September, 2022] that the corrupt and incompetent Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem had told the Fijian Media Association general secretary Stanley Simpson to provide proof of election fraud. Saneem was responding to Simpson asking if he could assure the Fijian people that the 2022 polls has checks and balances that “will not allow any rigging”.
“I will give you the non-technical answer first – prove it,” said Saneem. “Be a man of your word, prove it", continued the arrogant Saneem, “Two elections we’ve done, in both elections there have been so many people coming in their pipeline of evidence, Mr Chaudhry (Fiji Labour Party leader) is still coming from 2014. I think the best way to get rid of this rigging debacle is to say ‘bring your evidence, prove it. It’s four years late but bring it, let’s see". Oh really!
What the arrogant Saneem did not say was that he had already destroyed all the evidence of election fraud and rigging. Well, most of it, but not all.
Allegations and accounts of election fraud can be found on social media. Political parties and some candidates also claim that votes that had been cast for them by their family members at particular polling stations were not recorded, as their official tally showed ZERO. How could this be when their family and friends had voted for them? Hence, the claim that there was vote rigging by the Bainimarama Government.
In addition, these allegations were fuelled by Khaiyum’s refusal to allow the NGOs to
monitor the counting at polling stations, said Prof Wadan Narsey in his letter to the editor [LTE 27 Oct. 2014].
So, the big question is, were the actual votes recorded at polling stations accurately reported to the Elections Office, and did the Elections Office then accurately tally those same results as published in spreadsheets on their website?
A number of volunteers who worked at the various polling stations don't think so. They claimed on social media that the results reported from their polling stations did not match the official results announced by the Elections Office.
This is fraud and election rigging, so people were rightly concerned! The best solution was to audit the votes, to verify if there was any truth in the allegation. Simple, right? Apparently not.
Even accountant and Electoral Commission member Jenny Seeto, said Prof Narsey, knows very well from her own field, that auditors simply select a small randomly selected sample of transactions to investigate in depth if the accounts do reflect the true financial picture of the company being audited. That is all that was required. But Seeto did nothing.
No independent audit was conducted to verify the results. Wow!
In addition, SoE Saneem destroyed all the ballot papers, burning them, thus removing crucial evidence of fraud and vote rigging by the Bainimarama government. This act has only added fuel to the fire, creating more speculation and a stronger belief that the elections were rigged.
And now we have the SoE Saneem arrogantly asking for proof and berating local media organisations for running stories without first collecting evidence. This is an example of a prick!
Allegations of election fraud and rigging should have been audited and put to rest so that Fiji could have moved forward confidently, said Prof Narsey, knowing that the “people have spoken”, whether the political parties or individuals liked the result or not.
So, the 2014 and 2018 elections had to be rigged. Right? Why else would a government refuse to allow the NGOs to monitor the counting at polling stations, object to any audit of the results, and then destroy the ballot papers, if there was nothing to hide?
It looks like the once noble Republic of Fiji Military Forces is at another cross-roads in Fiji’s history.
After RFMF Commander Bainimarama's treasonous overthrow of the lawfully elected Qarase government in 2006, he has appointed one Commander after another to protect his backside from being arrested and going to prison for his crimes that include treason, sedition, torture and murder.
Commander Mosese Tikoitoga refused to play ball, so he was sent away as Ambassador to the outback of Africa, Ethiopia, because no nearby decent country would accept him.
Naval officer Naupote was appointed even though the army units were opposed to this weak naval officer being made Commander, especially with evidence of his cruelty to CRW prisoners and George Speight after the 2000 coup, which Bainimarama had known about.
Then, for unknown reasons, Naupote's contract was not renewed and Kalounivale was appointed as Commander.
Now, the public is hearing that Kalounivale has fallen out of favour with Khaiyum and Bainimarama because he told donors and other important people that he will not support another coup to keep corrupt [and now totally unpopular] Bainimarama and Khaiyum in power if they lose the elections.
So it seems that Kalounivale is refusing offers from Bainimarama to take a well-paying post overseas as Fiji's ambassador.
If this is true, then Kalounivale has the potential to end the coup cycle in Fiji, and return Fiji to genuine democracy and the rule of law. In doing so, he will also confine Bainimarama and Khaiyum to the rubbish bins and sewers of Fiji's history, where they belong.
It is therefore critical that all RFMF officers give their support to their Commander to not do any more coups.
It is also critical that Kalounivale’s relatives and friends give him their full support to stay true to his oaths and to any lawful government that is elected through the next election, without any rigging by the Supervisor of Elections Saneem and the Elections Office.
If the RFMF officers and troops and the responsible members of the public do not give Kalounivale their full support now, then he could weaken and choose to leave, or be sacked by Bainimarama and Khaiyum.
But if Kalounivale is forcibly replaced by the dictator Bainimarama, then the Opposition Parties and the people must acquire the courage to implement a Plan B to remove the scum from Fiji's government, forever.
Fiji must not come to that sad state because thousands of innocents will suffer in the cross-fire.
It is all in the hands of the good people of Fiji. For Fiji, ever Fiji.
A TRUE Son of Fiji, R.I.P., Jai Ram Reddy.
